Illegals The New Devil

Let me start off by stating that the illegal immigration problem in this country is immense and needs addressing. It is, however, a very daunting task when one realizes the number of illegals in this country and the tremendous amount of time and effort it would take to “remove” them all. What do you do with all the children of illegals, just let them live alone when the parents are caught and deported?

Illegal immigrants in this country are now the Devil. All of America’s woes seem to be the fault of illegal immigrants. The US economy is going down the crapper because of the illegals. They steal jobs from American citizens, and burden the “system” and the US economy is now suffering because of the illegals. High unemployment is the fault of the illegals. They have stolen the jobs from Americans and now the US faces such unemployment rates as haven’t been seen in awhile. Why even the high gas prices can be attributed to the illegal immigrants if you ask some Americans.

It seems Americans always have to have someone to blame. If it’s not the Blacks, it’s the Hispanics. If it’s not the Hispanics, it’s the Asians. There is always a minority group that the average white American has to blame for the faults and problems of the US society. Before the fall of the Soviet Union, the communists were the Great Satan. Today, it is the illegal aliens in this country who are destroying it.

A first principle of civil justice requires that no person obtain any profit or advantage from wrongdoing such as illegal immigration in violation of 8 U.S.C. 1325 which makes illegal entry a federal misdemeanor for the first violation and a federal felony for repeated ones. Any legislation that permits aliens who have illegally entered to remian in preference to those who have lawfully applied and await their turn violates this principle. While formal deportation proceedings for the 20 million plus illegal aliens are not a practical answer, experience has shown that legislation denying these aliens public benefits (and despite any taxes they pay, they ae net consumers of public beneits) will cause aliens to "self deport" and while this will not cause all illegal aliens to leave, it is a cost effective, practical way of causing large numbers to do so and will discourage further illegal entry. Some areas have begun prosecuting aliens for illegal entry and in those areas there has been a decline in illegal alien entries. Rather than incarceration, conviction can lead to a suspended sentence, suspended on condition that the alien leave and not re enter.

Hey, I know; how about if we fine all of the restaurants, construction companies, landscaping organizations, janitorial services, health care facilities, hotels, private saunas, diners, farms, bowling alleys, bars and the rest who HIRE these folks? I mean, if it is a question of the law, then it would seem that the the employer is breaking the law by hiring undocumented individuals.

Of course, who are they going to get to fill all of those crap jobs that don't pay a decent wage? Oh that's right, NO ONE!

This is all because most businesses do not want to pay an honest wage or give health benefits; it seems logical that the jobs would could only then be filled by people who would not complain about such deplorable working conditions.

And while we are at it, this is an entire nation of illegal aliens, just ask the Apaches, the Sioux, and the rest of the indigenous peoples...

If you aren't aware that people who come here, as law-breakers, rather than legally being granted permission are entitled to free health care and other benefits if they have no job and no resources. They also add to the burden of overcrowding in emergency rooms and every other place that serves the general public. They also are eligible to take much coveted admission slots in some colleges, while Americans are left out. Do a little more research.

Hey anonymous, everything you say reeks of xenophobia.

Did you ever see that statue, the one on the harbor in New York City? There's an inscription on it that goes like this:

"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me:
I lift my lamp beside the golden door."

I guess we should scribble over that now and have it read, "Give me your white, rich and wealthy..."
