Time For Her To Resign?
I am a State of NJ employee and a member of the CWA Union, Local 1034. I am not a "super" union member, but I believe the union is necessary to prevent mistreatment by the State and in these days, the public. However, with the controversies surrounding Local 1035 President Carla Katz and the gifts given to her by Governor Corzine (pictured), I now believe it might be a good time for Ms. Katz to resign. Not only is Jon Corzine's reputation in question, Katz is making it look bad for herself and the Union. When someone in Katz's position can pay $1 million in CASH for a condo, there's a problem!

I'm with you here, Karl. She does make the organization smell. Plus it doesnt have that good of a name now!
I agree, also. It is unethical of her to be in charge of a state worker's union when she is, basically, sleeping with the boss.
The latest is that she somehow manged to purchase a $million + condo in the same apt. building that Jon lives in, on her only $100,000 a year salary. Not that $100,000 is small potatoes, but it wont buy a $mil condo.
SO,yes, please! Let's get rid of her---I Need Jon and his mega bucks.I want me a condo in Manhattan!
It is hard to be a state employee these days. Stretching workers physically and emotionally to the brink. We are using every resource until it squeals for mercy. No compensation for working late, can't use your sicktime without hardship, a contract proposal that doesn't keep pace with inflation. If people only knew...
i can't make out this picture. are they dancing or what?
Joe, it does kind of look like he's slapping the shit out of her, doesn't it?
