Please Mr. Bush...Explain The "Noble Cause"
Cindy Sheehan, mother of Casey Sheehan, 24, continues her protest outside the Bush Ranch in Crawford, Texas. Casey was killed in Iraq on April 4, 2004. Mrs. Sheehan wants to know why Bush killed her son. She wants a private meeting with Bush and is determined to continue her protest until she gets that meeting. In a speech Wednesday at the ranch, Bush said that the sacrifices of US troops were "made in a noble cause." Mrs. Sheehan wants to know what that "noble cause" is. Mrs. Sheehan and several other families of killed soldiers met with Bush last June. Bush, as Mrs. Sheehan put it, "...wouldn't look at the pictures of Casey. He didn't even know Casey's name. Everytime we tried to talk about Casey and how much we missed him, he (Bush) would change the subject." Is that not typical of Bush? Not only do the Sheehans deserve an explanation of the "noble cause," but so do all Americans.

Update on Cindy Sheehan. She has started a hunger strike down at the ranch. CodePink is joining her. When she tried to gain access to the ranch, she was forced off the main road by police and had to walk in a ditch. This is the parent's of our war dead are treated by the war president. CodePink is asking for help. You readers may want to know that:
You can send money to help the other women joining Cindy, and you can publicize her hunger strike.
Hunger strikes are an old Irish custom. When someone had wronged you, wou would go to there home and lay at their door, not eating, until the wrong was righted.
correction-Diane Wilson of CodePink has gone on the hunger strike as an act of solidarity with CIndy Sheehan and to support her vigil. She went to Texas with her to try and meet with Bush. here is the link to their press release

Cindy could certainly stand to lose a few pounds...so the hunger strike should help in that respect.

If everyone(Code Pink) is so behind Sheehan, why aren't they ALL doing a full hunger strike...to the end? I mean, that would greatness! (can you say publicity?)
Anyway, Hillary will correct everything wrong in this world in 2008(afterall, she is God's gift to the world, and has all the answers!)...so, they don't have too long to go without food....wonder if she can last that long? Oh, I forgot, she won't REALLY do the hunger strike til the end...who am I trying to kid!
