ANOTHER COUNTRY MOVES FORWARD

Swiss voters approved giving same-sex couples more rights in a national referendum. Again, while the U.S. continues to take more and more steps to take away its citizens equal rights, other modernized civilizations throughout the world continue to increase its citizens rights. This morning, Texas Governor Rick Perry was to sign legislation that would put a same -sex marriage ban on the ballot for November. What a shame that the U.S., concerned about freedom around the world, cannot even give its own citizens freedom. And what a shame it is that the U.S. continues to be so greatly influenced by the ultra conservative, freedom-stopping, religious right wing.....and we continue to allow it to happen.
