Disney Boycott by Southern Baptists A Success?

Well, the Southern Baptists have brought Disney to its knees! Or so they think they have. At the Southern Baptist Convention in Nashville, "messengers" are expected to vote to end an 8 year boycott of Walt Disney, Corp. The Rev. Bobby Welch, convention president, said the boycott, which began in 1997 becaus of Disney's openess to gay individuals, has been a success. And because it has been such a success, the Southern Baptists are expected to stop the boycott.
Well, I don't know about anyone else, but to my knowledge, Disneyland and Disney World have not stopped or even lessened their activities. And to my knowledge, Disney still has its "Gay Days." So what victory have the Southern Baptists really won?
